With an aging society, obesity and diabetes on the rise, and an uptick in surgical procedures, the number of patients with non-healing wounds that would benefit from expert care is dramatically increasing.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join Healogics as a Program Director, responsible for managing and growing the Wound Care Program for the assigned area of responsibility.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage Day-to-Day Center Operations (20%):
    1. Directly oversee the day-to-day management of outpatient clinic(s) and other wound continuum programs.
    2. Identify areas of improvement and implement best practices to enhance outcomes.
  2. Perform Financial Management (10%):
    1. Coordinate all aspects of the revenue cycle for Healogics and the hospital partner.
    2. Stay up-to-date with reimbursement changes and educate physicians and staff as needed.
  3. Manage Community Education/Marketing functions (40%):
    1. Develop strategic marketing plans to boost patient referrals to the wound care center(s).
    2. Regularly update the list of Physician Practices within a given radius of the hospital.
  4. Manage Quality/Performance Improvement functions (10%):
    1. Implement and manage a continuous Wound Care Center Performance Improvement Program (PIP).
    2. Document timely and accurately in the patient record and outcomes database.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing or related field, along with relevant work experience.
  • Management experience is highly desirable.
