Physician-In-Charge (Part-Time) - Bureau of Public Health Clinics

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician-In-Charge (Part-Time) to join our team at the Bureau of Public Health Clinics. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing medical care and supervision to patients in our clinics, as well as coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective treatment and prevention of tuberculosis and other public health issues.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in our clinics, including performing medical exams, diagnosing illnesses, and prescribing treatments.
- Supervise and mentor other physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to best practices.
- Coordinate with other healthcare providers to ensure seamless care and treatment for patients.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with tuberculosis and other public health issues.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and make adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments and agencies to ensure effective public health initiatives and policies.
- Valid license to practice medicine in the State of New York.
- Board certification in a relevant specialty area, such as internal medicine or infectious disease.
- At least one year of experience practicing medicine in a public health setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
