This is an exciting opportunity to work on ITS, traffic signal, tolling, and managed lanes projects throughout the country. You will have the chance to collaborate with clients and other disciplines to prepare designs, lead tasks, and analyze complex design problems.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform engineering design services throughout the project life-cycle, from concept through construction.
  • Work with clients and other disciplines to prepare designs, as dictated by the scope of work.
  • Lead tasks and projects, analyzing moderate to complex design problems.
  • Provide direction to younger staff and develop engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Communicate with clients on task-oriented issues and project updates.
  • Participate in projects, completing tasks within schedule and budget.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, and electronic communications.
  • Participate in meetings, seminars, conferences, and committees.
  • Occasional project site visits and field work.
  • Review project documents for conformity and quality assurance.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil or Electrical preferred) or relevant discipline.
  • Professional Engineer license required.
  • 8-12 years' experience working in a relevant field.
  • Expertise with CADD and MS Office.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Some experience with management of project tasks.
