Physical Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our inpatient team at ECHN. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients based on departmental standards and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct and modify evaluations to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer physical agents and manual therapeutic techniques to relieve pain and improve function.
- Utilize effective techniques to assist patients in normalizing motor activity and learning.
- Document patient care and treatment plans in accordance with insurance guidelines and departmental policies.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in physical therapy.
- Graduate of an accredited program of Physical Therapy with a minimum of a B.S.
- Current Connecticut license in Physical Therapy.
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Personal computer skills and proficiency in Windows-based programs.
- Reliable transportation to travel between multiple work sites.
