Key Responsibilities
  • Lifting and Moving Heavy Glass Doors: Safely lift and move glass doors weighing 50+ pounds onto tables to prepare for packaging.
  • Standing, Bending, and Reaching: Stand, bend, and reach while working with glass doors to ensure accurate placement and packaging.
  • Package Doors as Instructed: Move and package glass doors according to factory orders and instructions.
  • Reading and Understanding Factory Orders: Read and comprehend factory orders, measuring tapes, and other documentation to ensure accurate production.
  • Glazing Custom Doors: Learn, understand, and perform procedures for glazing custom doors to meet customer specifications.
  • Operating Hand and Power Tools: Be comfortable using hand and power tools to perform various tasks related to production.
  • Attendance and Punctuality: Maintain a good attendance record and be punctual for all shifts.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as required by management to ensure the smooth operation of the production team.
  • Education and Certifications: Possess a GED or HS Diploma, and be willing to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies.
  • Physical Demands: Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 70+ pounds, and be able to stand for long periods.
Requirements
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with attention to detail and quality.
