Job Summary:
As a key member of our manufacturing team, the Manufacturing Technician C will play a critical role in the success of our space manufacturing operations. This individual will be responsible for setting up testing stations, adhering to predefined testing protocols, and maintaining accurate documentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies and be able to work in a highly regulated build space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up testing stations in alignment with provided diagrams and schematics, ensuring a safe and orderly workspace.
- Adhere to predefined testing protocols and safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Accurately complete datasheets and review test data, compiling data packs for finished products.
- Maintain accurate documentation and track the status of assigned programs, contributing to efficient workflow and communication.
- Maintain equipment at workstations, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient workflow and problem resolution.
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
- 2 years or more experience in technical knowledge and skills in troubleshooting down to the component level is desired; solid understanding and working knowledge of test equipment such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, thermal chambers, etc.
- 2 years or more experience in basic computer skills including familiarity with Excel.
- 2 years or more experience in strong written and interpersonal skills, such as communicating well with customers, management, as well as other disciplines in the organization.
- 2 years or more experience in strong planning/organizational skills with ability to prioritize work assignments.
- 2 years or more experience in working individually and in a diverse and team-oriented environment.
- Must be a United States Citizen.
- Able to move assemblies from one manufacturing area to another within the building.
- Able to push standard production carts in the hallway from various manufacturing areas.
- Able to pass binocular vision test and pass J-STD-001 soldering certification.
- Analog and digital troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with environmental testing.
