Principal Manufacturing Engineer

AtriCure, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Principal Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining capable and stable manufacturing processes to meet product quality standards/requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement manufacturing processes and equipment to ensure product quality and efficiency.
- Lead and mentor members of the Manufacturing/Process Engineering Teams to drive continuous improvement.
- Support and drive a DFM focused culture within the PD teams and the operations organization.
- Collaborate with external suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services.
- Expertise in machining, molding, and extrusion tooling and processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
- 20+ years of experience in development of new manufacturing processes and tooling/equipment required to implement the processes.
- Knowledge base in Lean Processes and Continuous Improvement.
- Experience in Design for Manufacturability.
- Previous class II or class III Medical Device manufacturing experience.
- Possess a strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and capabilities.
