Position Overview: Pediatric Healthcare Provider

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the management of an outpatient Pediatric primary care practice, including gathering patient histories, conducting physical examinations, and delivering precise clinical diagnoses.
  • Prescribe evidence-based, cost-effective treatments while providing comprehensive patient education.
  • Ensure adherence to productivity standards, averaging a minimum of 2.7 patient visits per hour.
  • Promote patient satisfaction by recognizing the impact of environmental, social, and cultural factors on health.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives, including accurate chart documentation and peer review processes.
  • Practice evidence-based, cost-effective primary care within a collaborative team framework.
  • Formulate and implement age-appropriate preventive health schedules for pediatric patients.
  • Establish and maintain a pediatric practice that emphasizes continuity of care through follow-ups and referrals.
  • Maintain clinical proficiency through ongoing Continuing Medical Education and provide documentation as required.
  • Participate in the Newborn Nursery coverage schedule as assigned.
  • Respond to patient calls as directed by the Medical Director of Pediatrics.
  • Contribute to the education and training of medical and healthcare professionals as necessary.
Candidate Profile:
  • MD or DO degree.
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatrics.
  • Fluent in Spanish.
  • J1/H1B Visa sponsorship available.
