Position Summary:
The Senior Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in delivering quality care to residents in long-term care settings. This position requires an experienced caregiver who can assist with daily living activities and provide resident-centered nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Responsibilities include:
  • Delivering age-appropriate care based on the individual needs of residents.
  • Supporting nursing staff and collaborating as a member of the healthcare team.
  • Assisting residents with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Documenting resident interactions and care outcomes accurately.
  • Communicating changes in residents' conditions to the charge nurse.
  • Participating in wellness and recreational programs to encourage resident engagement.

Qualifications:
A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with a minimum of two years of experience in long-term care. Candidates must possess a valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification and complete annual continuing education requirements.
