Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality evaluation and control systems and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product.
  • Design and analyze inspection and testing processes, mechanisms, and equipment, and conduct quality assurance tests.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards (AS9100, AS9102, AS9145).
  • Support production build process, First Article Inspection, and quality support on production efforts, including hardware redesign efforts due to Diminishing Manufacturing Supply.
  • Develop and maintain quality documentation packages for customer review and approval.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering or technical discipline and 6 years of work experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience with quality science tools (APQP/PPAP, 8D RCCA, Statistical Process Controls, Lean Six Sigma, Auditing) and industry standards (AS9100, AS9102, AS9145).
  • Ability to read, interpret, and understand drawings, prints, and specifications.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior Quality Assurance Engineering experience.
  • Production hardware and software processing experience.
  • Lean Six Sigma tools and certification.
  • Hands-on experience in a Defense Contracting Environment.
