Position Summary:

The Line Cook at Court 7 Grill is accountable for providing exceptional food preparation services to our esteemed members and guests. This role involves active participation in various kitchen tasks including food preparation, cooking, sanitation, and equipment maintenance. The Line Cook will take guidance from the Court 7 Grill Manager, Executive Chef, or other supervisory staff.

Compensation: $19.00 to $21.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Note: This is a non-exempt, hourly position requiring a flexible schedule with open availability during morning hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a clean and sanitary work environment in compliance with local and state health regulations, prioritizing the safety of members, guests, and staff.
  • Prepare and cook all menu items following the recipes and standards set by the Court 7 Grill Manager and Executive Chef.
  • Adhere to all club policies related to kitchen operations.
  • Restock necessary food supplies and service ware for meal preparation.
  • Maintain the workstation throughout the shift, ensuring all areas are adequately stocked.
  • Keep workstations and kitchen equipment clean; return soiled utensils and small wares to designated areas.
  • Consistently apply safe and sanitary food handling practices; manage leftover food items responsibly.
  • Perform cleaning duties such as maintaining line areas, wiping down counters, sweeping, mopping, and disposing of trash.
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned by the Court 7 Grill Manager or other supervisors.

Qualifications:

A minimum of two years of experience in a professional kitchen environment is required; possession of a Texas Food Handlers' Safety Certificate is mandatory.

Physical Requirements:

The candidate must be able to perform tasks quickly and accurately in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
