Job Summary

Aspire Surgical is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide critical support to our surgical team, ensuring the smooth operation of our dental procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Operatory Preparation: Prepare all equipment, instruments, and materials for use prior to patient arrival, ensuring a seamless and efficient surgical experience.
  • Patient Care: Escort patients to the operatory in a timely manner, provide emotional support, and ensure their comfort throughout the procedure.
  • Instrument Management: Sterilize and disinfect dental instruments properly, removing all organic and inorganic materials before sterilization.
  • Documentation: Accurately chart patient data, including clinical notations, treatment performed, and updates to medical history records.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the dental treatment coordinator to ensure patients are scheduled for proper treatment and that appointment lengths are accurate.
  • Equipment Maintenance
  • Software Navigation: Navigate software without assistance, ensuring efficient and accurate data entry.
  • Training and Development: Assist in training new staff members and contribute to the growth and development of our team.
Requirements
  • Certification and License: Maintain certification and/or license renewals as required by the state.
  • Forward Thinking: Excel in forward thinking to anticipate the needs of patients and our dental team.
  • Travel and Insurance: May be required to travel between office locations; must be insurable by the company's insurance.
  • CPR Certification: Must be CPR certified.
