Job Title: Power Transformer Field Installation Contract Analyst

WEG Transformers USA is seeking a highly skilled Power Transformer Field Installation Contract Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Technical Customer Service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth installation and commissioning of power transformers in the field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the receiving, installing, assembling, and testing of power transformers in the field.
  • Review specifications to determine technical requirements and define the scope of work.
  • Conduct discussions with customers to clearly establish their requirements and ensure a clear understanding of the service.
  • Obtain advice and assistance from other departments as appropriate, and cooperate with outside organizations as needed.
  • Coordinate with factory and OEMs for the commissioning of special devices.
  • Participate in project updates with factory PMs, customers, and contractors as required.
  • Set up clear agendas for meetings.
  • Document fully and promptly report when a project goes over budget.
  • Update all records pertaining to each field installation and/or inspection.
  • Retrieve and assess field reports from contractors.
  • Submit all documents to close the project, including payments to contractors.
Requirements:
  • Associates Degree from an accredited two-year college or equivalent experience.
  • Must possess knowledge of transformer design and troubleshooting or ability to learn.
  • Ability to work with diverse groups and manage projects through to completion.
  • Ability to work extensively with computer programs, i.e., spreadsheets and custom programs.
  • Current work authorization for employment in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • Five (5) years of experience in transformer design, manufacturing, or service.
  • Has or willing to obtain Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
