DSP Adult Services Specialist

Job Title: DSP Adult Services
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate DSP Adult Services professional to join our team at The Kennedy Collective Inc. As a DSP Adult Services, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with their daily living needs, promoting their well-being, and fostering their growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to and advocate for individuals, promoting their choice and autonomy.
- Coordinate activities to foster individual well-being, growth, and development.
- Ensure that all services, programs, and guidelines outlined in an individual's ISP are implemented as assigned.
- Supervise and coordinate daily living skills, including personal care, recreation, meal prep, and household chores.
- Administer medications in accordance with DDS regulations.
- Advocate for individuals and teach them to advocate for themselves.
- Ensure the protection of all individuals' rights and safety by following HIPAA regulations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- Knowledge and skill with Microsoft Office and the internet.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Physical endurance to use PMT holds and lift and transfer individuals as assigned.

- Two-week new hire orientation including an introduction to the agency, site tours, and employer-funded CPR & PMT certification.
- Two weeks of job-specific trainings and shadowing at your worksite.
- Check-ins with Human Resources after your first 30, 60, and 90 days.
