AMR Corp. is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Motorsports Fire Rescue Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our emergency response team, you will be responsible for providing fire prevention, fire suppression, and emergency rescue services in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct fire safety inspections and provide information to the public on fire prevention and safety measures.
- Respond to emergency fire alarms and assist in the suppression of structural, residential, commercial, industrial, chemical, petroleum, vehicle, aircraft, and wildland fires.
- Operate various pieces of fire equipment and gear, including self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA), personal protective equipment, ladders, portapower units, hammers, chain saws, and portable lights.
- Participate in all required training sessions, including live fire drills, performance evaluation drills, ongoing skills maintenance, practice, and training, annual OSHA drills, EMS major skills, and any other mandatory company training.
- Review paperwork for accuracy and correct process, and participate in scheduled and unscheduled onsite compliance audits.
- Perform other duties as directed or assigned that are specific to the local operation.
- State issued or International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) or Fire Service Professional Qualifications System (ProBoard) certifications as a minimum: Firefighter I, Hazardous Materials-Operations.
- State issued or National Registered EMT-Basic or EMT-Paramedic certification.
- Current ACLS certification required if applicant is an EMT-Paramedic.
- Current CPR/AED certification.
- Valid driver license with acceptable driving record in accordance with Rural/Metro policy.
- High School diploma or GED required.
