We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Night Auditor Front Desk/Guest Service Agent to join our team at Sunridge Hotel Group. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling guest requests, and ensuring a smooth and efficient night audit process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and register guests, assign rooms, and handle guest requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Handle confidential information, including guest records, with a high degree of integrity and discretion.
- Deal with guest complaints and requests in a prompt and effective manner.
- Answer and route calls, take guest messages, and maintain accurate records.
- Responsible for cash drawer contents and transactions during shift.
- Maintain accurate records, including cash flows, registration cards, reservation cards, and property walks.
- Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, registration of guests, and travel directions.
- Assist with sales and marketing efforts as directed by the General Manager.
- Offer and properly handle requests for wake-up calls.
- Record pertinent guest information in the pass on log.
- Follow hotel's property-specific Night Auditor checklist.
- Ensure hotel safety and security by making sure front doors are locked and secure at the appropriate hour.
- Run end-of-day night audit reports in the hotel's PMS system.
- Send in required reports to the corporate office.
- Leave copies of required reports in the General Manager's box.
- Deliver express check-out receipts.
- Set up breakfast bar in the morning according to brand standards and under direction from the General Manager.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk, lobby, and common areas.
- Perform laundry functions as directed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-3 months of related experience and/or training preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with cash handling.
- Ability to work a varied schedule, including nights and weekends.
