About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN to join our team at American Health Communities. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our residents in their recovery journey.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized healthcare to residents, including prescribed treatments and supervising other caregivers to ensure their comfort and safety.
  • Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing aides and support staff, ensuring seamless care delivery.
  • Perform administrative duties such as documenting assessments, managing inventory, and requesting supplies and equipment.
  • Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as needed, ensuring a smooth transition of care.
  • Perform emergency procedures such as CPR, prioritizing the well-being of our residents.
Requirements
  • Current licensure in the state of Tennessee as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including possible overtime, shift changes, and weekends.
  • Physical ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds, ensuring the safety of our residents.
  • Supervise support staff, including training, scheduling, and assigning work, reviewing performance, and assisting in problem-solving for staff issues.
