The Opportunity

This is not a remote opportunity. Qualified candidates must currently live in the Chicagoland area. This position works out of our Willis Tower location. Must be able to travel up towards 10%.

What You'll Work On

Responsible for the development, strategic planning and execution of specific marketing plans and activities for specific market segments or products to establish, enhance or distinguish placement within the competitive arena. Develop, implement and execute strategic and tactical initiatives to maximize business impact of products/projects. Participate in annual departmental budgeting processes by providing relevant data points to assist in overall decision making. Lead and/or participate on cross-functional teams in support of organizational goals. Serve as subject matter expert (SME) within the assigned market segment interface with internal and external customers and partners. Understand and comply with applicable EHS policies, procedures, and guidelines. Implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the Quality System. Manage single or multiple, smaller products/projects or who functions within a specific role within a larger project. Has a solid understanding of concepts and applies these concepts with a good deal of effectiveness. Functions independently under general guidance and direction. May mentor others. Plans and organizes project assignments of substantial variety and complexity. Initiates or maintains schedules for projects and project milestones. Establishes priorities of individual or project assignments. Selects methods and techniques to lead a project to completion.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Minimum 8 years related work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years with or exposure to sales and/or marketing in the following areas: healthcare, medical devices, or medical diagnostics to develop the competence required to meet the skills and responsibilities of the position.
  • Understanding of the technology and capabilities of the Division's products and of market and customer dynamics.
  • Understanding of sales processes.
  • Knowledge of regulations and standards affecting medical devices/diagnostics.
  • Ability to lead and influence without direct authority.
  • Ability to work independently and in groups.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Ability to apply analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to convey communications clearly, concisely, and accurately, whether verbal, written or in presentations.
  • Ability and aptitude to use various types of databases and other computer software.
  • Ability to form and develop interpersonal, professional relationships; display socially and professionally appropriate behavior.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or MBA is preferred.

The base pay for this position is $95,000.00 – $190,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
