Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at UW Health University Hospital. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients during surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare the Operating Room for surgery, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Assist the surgeon during surgery, maintaining a safe and sterile environment.
  • Care for patients during surgery, providing emotional support and ensuring their comfort.
  • Manage and maintain surgical instruments and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order.
Requirements
  • Minimum two years of scrub experience or equivalent relevant experience required.
  • Experience in an Academic Level 1 - Trauma center or similar size hospital.
  • Prior traveler experience highly preferred.
  • Successfully completed a surgical technologist program or two years' experience in Surgical Technologist role may be considered in lieu of completion of program.
