About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at SSM Health. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Operating Room.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare equipment, supplies, and resources for surgical procedures.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to implement a plan of care that prioritizes patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with the surgical team, including the surgeon, anesthesiologist, and nurses.
  • Maintain a clean and organized Operating Room environment.
  • Assist with patient positioning, draping, and other aspects of surgical care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a technical program for operating room technicians.
  • Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification.
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Tech in Surgery - Certified (NCCT) certification.
