JOB SUMMARY:

Oversee the operations of the Cutter Technology Center, ensuring efficient management of facility functions and development initiatives. This center plays a crucial role in supporting the cutter development team through rigorous performance evaluations. Ensure the safe and responsible operation of all equipment while leading a dedicated team.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Guarantee that all machinery is fully operational, well-maintained, regularly inspected, and accurately calibrated.
2. Coordinate facility upgrades, equipment installations or removals, and the commissioning and upkeep of all systems and alarms.
3. Collaborate with maintenance staff and external service providers to ensure optimal facility performance.
4. Enforce adherence to all health, safety, and environmental protocols while maintaining comprehensive departmental records.
5. Supervise the cutter development and performance testing operations.
6. Lead a team of technicians responsible for sample collection, equipment operation, testing, result reporting, prototyping, and method development.
7. Act as project manager for cutter and testing development initiatives.
8. Implement cutter modifications as requested by production or repair teams.
9. Assist in root cause analysis for field requests and inquiries from repair centers.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in facility management, engineering, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in facilities management or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of technical operations and best practices in facilities management.
- Familiarity with PDC drill bit technology is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational and leadership capabilities.
- Proficient analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CFM) are advantageous.
- Experience in laboratory testing and validation is essential.
- Proficiency in MS Excel is required.
