Kitchen Operations Manager

Curry UP Now is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality food products are prepared and presented to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the preparation and presentation of food products to ensure consistency and quality.
- Manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient and effective food production.
- Lead and develop a high-performing kitchen team to achieve exceptional guest satisfaction and quality standards.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement menu offerings and pricing strategies.
- Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and inventory levels to ensure profitability.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of kitchen staff.
- Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure consistency and quality of food products.
- At least 3 years of experience in a kitchen management role.
- Proven track record of success in culinary excellence and food service hospitality.
- Knowledge of OSHA and EEOC regulations, restaurant/food safety procedures.
- Point of Sale (POS) knowledge/skills preferred.
- Ability to successfully perform all job duties of the Line Cook/Prep Cook role.
- Manager Food Safety/Food Handler certification required.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate with guests, staff, and management.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, in the English language, Spanish speaking abilities preferred.
- Possesses basic math skill (add, subtract, multiply, divide).

- Proven ability to problem solve and handle high stress situations.
- Must be prepared to multitask in accordance with the demands of the business.
- Ability to identify and anticipate opportunities and implement corrective action steps.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
