As the Retail Operations Supervisor, you will take pride in enhancing the customer experience for our visitors. Your role involves creatively merchandising products to boost sales while fostering a motivated team atmosphere. You will embody a commitment to sustainability and conservation.


Work Schedule: Initially, the schedule will be Wednesday through Sunday, typically from 8:30 AM to 6 PM, with occasional evening shifts for special events. Following the initial period, the schedule will shift to Tuesday through Saturday, with Sundays and Mondays off.


Compensation: $29.80 per hour, depending on experience.


Key Responsibilities:Daily Operations
  • Serve as the Manager-On-Duty, overseeing all retail operations and collaborating with staff.
  • Monitor and manage all retail outlets and personnel.
  • Ensure a high-quality guest experience across all retail operations.
  • Exhibit a positive, guest-first attitude with both staff and visitors.
  • Maintain store operations and displays to create an inviting atmosphere.
  • Inspire guests and staff through product knowledge and engaging demonstrations.
  • Oversee the Point of Sale system and coordinate with technical support for troubleshooting.
  • Utilize business reporting tools to analyze sales data and communicate findings with management.
  • Manage rental equipment, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are met.
  • Recommend and oversee the purchase and maintenance of retail equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and policies.
  • Address disciplinary matters in collaboration with management as necessary.
  • Coordinate with other departments for special events and promotions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Guest Relations
  • Greet every guest warmly and express gratitude for their support.
  • Train staff in customer service excellence and conflict resolution.
  • Handle guest complaints and inquiries according to established procedures.
  • Resolve guest experience issues using sound judgment and escalate when necessary.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall guest experience.
Staff Management and Development
  • Ensure all employees understand the organization's mission and values.
  • Exemplify core values and ensure compliance among all staff.
  • Conduct interviews and oversee hiring, training, and scheduling for retail positions.
  • Communicate daily sales goals and coach staff to achieve them.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to staff members.
  • Facilitate staff development for future leadership roles.
Visual Merchandising
  • Maintain visually appealing store presentations as directed by management.
  • Ensure stores are properly organized and maintained throughout the day.
Collaboration
  • Work collaboratively with other department managers to foster positive relationships.
  • Participate in teams and committees to address various challenges and opportunities.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field preferred.
  • 5 years of customer service experience in retail, with 2-3 years in a supervisory role preferred.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
