Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance and Privacy Specialist to join our team at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. As a key member of our Corporate Compliance department, you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining our robust Compliance and Privacy Program across the hospital system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor compliance with policies, laws, and regulations at federal and state levels
  • Conduct investigations and resolve non-compliant matters
  • Chair compliance committee meetings and serve as a resource for compliance and privacy
  • Develop strategic relationships with senior management stakeholders and implement strategies to enhance compliance and privacy performance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Five to seven years' experience in healthcare compliance and privacy
  • Knowledge of compliance and privacy regulations, including Medicare, Medicaid, and Privacy and Security regulations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree
  • Experience in compliance and privacy within the hospital/healthcare setting
  • CHC, CHPC, CIPP, CIPM, CCEP, CHRC or CHC-F certification
