Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee hospital staff to ensure quality care and compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Provide professional guidance and support to nursing personnel, manage disciplinary issues, and prepare administrative reports.
  • Participate in program development and training for nurse-recruitment activities and assist with continuing education programs.
  • Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate designated nursing staff, assign duties, and coordinate nursing services.
  • Develop and implement nursing protocols and procedures.
  • Provide continuing education and staff development opportunities for nursing staff.
  • Assess patient needs, participate in providing nursing care, and ensure services are carried out and documented appropriately.
  • Maintain patient health care records and supply inventory records.
  • Promote adherence to the Company's Code of Business Conduct and the Corporate Compliance Agreement.
Requirements:
  • Appropriate degree from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Additional state requirements as applicable.
  • Valid Registered Nurse/RN license in the state.
  • BCLS and ACLS certification.
  • Two years of Registered Nurse/RN nursing experience in a hospital.
  • One to two years of supervisory/leadership experience.
