- Provide professional guidance and support to nursing personnel, manage disciplinary issues, and prepare administrative reports.
- Participate in program development and training for nurse-recruitment activities and assist with continuing education programs.
- Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate designated nursing staff, assign duties, and coordinate nursing services.
- Develop and implement nursing protocols and procedures.
- Provide continuing education and staff development opportunities for nursing staff.
- Assess patient needs, participate in providing nursing care, and ensure services are carried out and documented appropriately.
- Maintain patient health care records and supply inventory records.
- Promote adherence to the Company's Code of Business Conduct and the Corporate Compliance Agreement.
- Appropriate degree from an accredited school of nursing.
- Additional state requirements as applicable.
- Valid Registered Nurse/RN license in the state.
- BCLS and ACLS certification.
- Two years of Registered Nurse/RN nursing experience in a hospital.
- One to two years of supervisory/leadership experience.
