Our team collaborates effectively to ensure that the needs of our residents are always met.

Position Overview:

Current Opening: Full-Time, Sunday to Thursday, 2 PM - 10 PM

Additional Shifts: Opportunities for extra shifts are available if desired.

Shift Differentials: An additional $2 per hour for weekend hours.

Compensation:

Hourly wage ranges from $20.50 to $22.00, depending on experience, education, and shift. Weekend and NOC shift differentials are available at $2/hour, with extra shift pay starting at $5/hour.

Work Environment:

CDAH Management operates 24/7, which may require flexibility in scheduling to meet the needs of our residents. Various shifts are available, and we strive to accommodate individual scheduling preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with medication management.
  • Provide personal care, including showering and grooming.
  • Support residents during morning and bedtime routines.
  • Assist with oral care and skin care.
  • Facilitate the toileting program.
  • Help residents with meals and ensure safe transfers.
  • Accurately monitor and record vital signs, reporting any abnormalities.
  • Respond to emotional and behavioral changes in residents.
  • Handle emergencies, including responding to the resident emergency call system.
  • Encourage social interaction and participation in community activities.
  • Document concerns and communicate with the charge nurse.
  • Maintain physical mobility to perform job duties.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • MedTech Certificate is required for MedTech roles, not mandatory for caregiver positions.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications are advantageous but not essential.
  • Basic computer skills or willingness to learn electronic documentation.
  • Familiarity with clinical equipment such as Hoyer Lift and Sit-to-Stand is preferred, but training will be provided.

Compensation Details: Hourly wage structure.
