**About This Role:**
The Department of Clinical Sciences within the College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University is seeking applications for a faculty role (clinical or tenure track) in the specialty of Cardiology at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. Candidates are not required to specify a track upon application. The Department is dedicated to establishing and supporting a Cardiology service that excels in clinical and instructional teaching, clinical service, and scholarly activities, and is looking for individuals who share this commitment.
**Qualifications:**
Applicants must possess a DVM or equivalent degree and have achieved ACVIM or ECVIM board certification in Cardiology. Those eligible for board certification are also encouraged to apply.
**Responsibilities:**
- Provide directed clinical services, including cardiology care for small, large, and exotic animal patients at the Veterinary Health Center.
- Engage in clinical and didactic instruction for veterinary students and house officers.
- Prioritize and develop an ACVIM-approved residency training program, with opportunities for advanced training and the establishment of an interventional or surgical cardiology program.
- Participate in scholarship activities, with expectations varying between clinical and tenure track appointments. The Department recognizes that outstanding faculty scholarship may stem from clinical and teaching activities, in addition to traditional independent and collaborative research initiatives.
