Position Overview:
As a Full-time Lead Educator for Preschool & PreK | VPK (certified) at the Primrose School of Cooper City, you will play a crucial role in guiding young learners as they explore and comprehend their surroundings.

We are looking for passionate and qualified Preschool and PreK VPK (certified) Educators to execute our comprehensive program of activities designed to foster the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth of each child, in alignment with the Primrose Balanced Learning philosophy. These roles are full-time, operating Monday through Friday, throughout the year. Paid time-off and holiday compensation are available after the initial introductory period.

Primrose School of Cooper City is a recognized private preschool dedicated to providing an exceptional educational childcare experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the overall management and daily operations of a classroom of children.
  • Adhere to all guidelines and regulations set forth by the Primrose School of Cooper City and relevant local, state, or national agencies regarding the health, safety, and welfare of children.
  • Continuously evaluate each child's developmental requirements.
  • Execute the approved lesson plans and daily schedules in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum.
  • Collaborate with a member of the Leadership Team to arrange parent-teacher conferences and assess student progress.
  • Maintain an inviting and well-organized classroom that encourages creativity, exploration, and confident decision-making among children.
  • Provide positive reinforcement and clear expectations for children's behavior.
  • Take responsibility for the upkeep and cleanliness of the classroom, shared areas, and outdoor spaces.
  • Participate in all mandatory staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
  • Uphold a professional appearance in line with the standards outlined in the Primrose School of Cooper City Employee Handbook.
  • Assist in additional tasks as determined necessary by the Director or designated representative.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a licensed early childhood education setting is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. for the safe handling of children and in emergency situations.
  • Current Staff Credential or CDA is required.
  • For Pre-Kindergarten Teachers: VPK-CERTIFIED (mandatory) and a four-year degree in early childhood education or a related field is required.
