Lead Preschool Teacher

We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic Preschool and PreK VPK (certified) Teachers to implement our on-going program of activities that promote the social, emotional, cognitive and physical development of each child, in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning approach to teaching and learning.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and manage a group of children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Implement approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedules, adhering to the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum and programming.
- Assess each child's developmental needs and plan accordingly.
- Plan and conduct parent-teacher conferences and student evaluations.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, encouraging children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence.
- Provide clear and consistent expectations for children's behavior, while offering verbal recognition and acceptance.
- Assist with maintenance and housekeeping duties of the classroom, common areas and playgrounds.
- Attend required staff meetings, workshops and school functions.
- Maintain a professional appearance, adhering to the guidelines in the Primrose School of Cooper City Employee Handbook.
- Previous teaching experience in a licensed early childhood program (minimum 2 years).
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with handling children for program facilitation, child safety and emergency situations.
- Up-to-date Staff Credential or CDA.
- Pre-Kindergarten Teachers: VPK-certified and 4-year degree in early childhood or related field required.
