Position Overview:

Core Ventures LLC is in search of a visionary and collaborative Chief Executive Officer to lead our organization into its next chapter. This role is pivotal in guiding our team and stakeholders towards achieving our mission of delivering high-quality educational programs that unlock the potential of every individual.

Key Responsibilities:

Spiritual Leadership:
  • Facilitate and lead regular sessions of reflection and devotion as an integral part of your role.
  • Establish the overarching theme for community gatherings, implement a yearly devotional strategy, and engage speakers for these events.
Strategic Direction:
  • Act as a liaison to the Board of Directors, participating in regular meetings to provide updates on strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Board to execute a comprehensive strategic plan aimed at fostering growth and achieving organizational goals.
  • Provide regular updates to the Board to monitor the progress of strategic objectives.
Team and Operations Management:
  • Oversee a diverse team of approximately 25 staff members, including three senior leadership roles.
  • Enhance team development through mentorship, training, and performance evaluations, fostering an inclusive and empowering workplace culture.
  • Supervise various operational functions, including Development, IT, finance, and facilities management.
Community Engagement:
  • Build and nurture relationships with community stakeholders to advance the organization's mission.
  • Maintain proactive communication with parents, educators, donors, and other stakeholders regarding organizational initiatives and progress.
  • Network with educational leaders to stay informed about current trends and best practices.
Development Initiatives:
  • In collaboration with the Development Manager, design and implement a fundraising strategy to support ongoing operations and future initiatives.
  • Foster relationships to secure funding sources, representing the organization at donor meetings.
  • Chair the social enterprise efforts and oversee related business operations.
Executive Leadership:
  • Promote a shared vision among board members, donors, faculty, staff, and the community for delivering exceptional educational experiences.
  • Manage the performance and professional growth of senior leadership team members.
  • Oversee the implementation of new programs and initiatives to enhance educational offerings.
Academic Oversight:
  • Recruit, develop, and support faculty in delivering high-quality instruction.
  • Conduct curriculum reviews in collaboration with academic leaders, ensuring alignment with current educational research.
  • Engage with parents and academic leaders to establish goals for student development.
  • Ensure the implementation of safety policies and procedures across the organization.
Qualifications:
  • A profound commitment to personal and professional integrity.
  • Significant leadership experience over the past decade, including management of a large team.
  • Experience in cross-cultural communication and team building among diverse groups.
  • Strong background in strategic planning and fundraising initiatives.
  • A Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s degree is preferred in relevant fields.
  • Knowledge of non-profit operations, including finance and marketing.
  • Ability to engage and inspire a diverse audience.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
