Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Manager to join our team at AVAD Capital. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring timely payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting decision-making within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Cash Management Processes - Assist with sales tax calculations and payments, lead the payroll process, calculate and collect fees, review and approve invoices, and manage all cash accounts to ensure proper balances and payments are processed.
  • Collaborate with Other Departments - Work closely with colleagues in finance, operations, and management to support overall organizational goals and objectives.
  • Daily Tasks - Reconcile accounts, calculate certain accruals and management fees, enter journal entries, review accounts payable, allocate expenses to various properties, and check cash balances. Special projects as directed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Required - Ideally, the candidate should either hold a CPA or be actively working towards obtaining it.
  • 3-5 years of experience in an accounting setting.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and attention to detail.
  • The ability to collect and analyze data to devise alternate solutions is essential.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and procedures is critical. This includes knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
  • Proficiency in financial statement preparation and analysis is preferred.
