Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our elite Radiology team at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for calculating, preparing, and administering accurate dosages of radiopharmaceuticals during various radiological studies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients during radiological studies
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Operate and maintain complex imaging equipment, including nuclear medicine cameras and computers
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure accurate and safe imaging practices
Requirements
  • Completion of a two-year occupationally-specific education or an Associate's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • Three to six months of previous experience, including clinical experience
  • Valid ARRT Certification
  • Licensed as a Medical Radiation Technologist by the Maryland Board of Physician Quality Assurance
  • Annual NMTCB or CNMT certification
  • Valid CPR card
