We are seeking a highly qualified Associate Professor in Computational Biology to join our faculty at the George Washington University. The successful candidate will have a strong research background in computational biology and a proven track record of teaching and mentoring students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain an externally funded research program in computational biology
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in bioinformatics and computational biology
  • Mentor students in research projects and provide guidance on academic and professional development
  • Contribute to departmental service and committee work
Requirements
  • PhD or Doctoral degree in a relevant field
  • Established research program in computational biology with a strong publication record
  • Experience in teaching and mentoring students

  • Experience with high-performance computing and bioinformatics tools
