Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Professional to join our team in Washington, DC

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead our cybersecurity efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network security, cloud security, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies to protect our organization's assets
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate risks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security regulations and standards
  • Provide security awareness training and education to employees
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies to ensure our organization remains secure

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on network security and cloud security
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks, regulations, and standards (e.g. NIST, CIS, DISA)
  • Experience with security tools and technologies (e.g. firewalls, intrusion detection systems, SIEM)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CISSP, CEH, or other relevant certifications
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms
  • Knowledge of DevOps and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
