Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at AdaptHealth LLC. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide high-quality respiratory care to patients in alternate sites, utilizing your expertise in preventative, rehabilitative, and palliative care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to patients in accordance with AdaptHealth's policies and procedures.
  • Conduct clinical assessments and make recommendations to physicians.
  • Utilize equipment troubleshooting and maintenance skills to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Develop and implement care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Document patient information and treatment plans accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Participate in discharge planning and prepare patients for transition to home care.
  • Perform in-services to hospital staff and other professionals on equipment and clinical issues.
  • Follow up with physicians and referrals regarding patient status and document accurately.
Requirements
  • Associates degree from an AMA-approved respiratory program.
  • Valid and unrestricted RT clinical license in all states serviced by the branch.
  • One year of clinical experience as a Health Care RT, HME RT, or clinical nursing with Vent experience.
  • Valid and unrestricted driver's license.
