We are in search of a highly skilled individual to take on the role of Maintenance Technician. This person will be a proactive and engaging leader with practical experience in the field.

POSITION SUMMARY
  • Ensuring a safe, secure, and pleasant living environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
  • Possessing knowledge of relevant laws and EPA and OSHA standards.
  • Monitoring the condition of apartment properties throughout the community and promptly addressing any unsafe conditions.
  • Organizing and executing routine preventative maintenance on all relevant equipment.
  • Conducting work area clean-up and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Diagnosing and performing minor and routine maintenance and repairs.
  • Ensuring all make-ready repairs and services are completed effectively.
  • Inspecting and assisting in coordinating all necessary make-ready repairs and services.
  • Helping maintain clean and orderly grounds, including raking, sweeping, and shoveling as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in apartment maintenance.
  • HVAC certification is preferred.
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License and automobile insurance, as personal vehicle use may be required.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and on-call duties as necessary.
  • Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, mechanical equipment, and measuring devices.
  • Capable of performing the following physical tasks 66-100% of the time: standing, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, climbing stairs, pushing/pulling, reaching above shoulder height, climbing ladders, gripping, and lifting/carrying up to 75 lbs, as well as reading and understanding maintenance forms and warning labels.
  • Able to work in various weather conditions.
