Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Care Unit team at Alliance Community Hospital. As a Cardiac Care Unit Registered Nurse, you will provide exceptional patient care to patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients with cardiac conditions, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and make adjustments to care plans as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current RN license in the state of Ohio.
  • Experience in a cardiac care unit or similar setting preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
