Job Summary

Norton Healthcare is seeking a skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician to join our team. As a Biomedical Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for the repair, calibration, and maintenance of clinical equipment technologies, devices, instruments, and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect, install, and provide preventive maintenance of general clinical equipment.
  • Repair, calibrate, and maintain basic and moderately complex clinical equipment technologies, devices, instruments, and systems.
  • Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures to identify and resolve equipment malfunctions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure equipment is functioning properly and safely.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and calibrations.
Requirements
  • With degree: One year of experience performing repair and maintenance of electronic equipment.
  • Without degree: Completion of Electronics or U.S. Military Biomedical equipment technology program and one year of experience providing repair and maintenance of electronic equipment.
  • Without degree or completion of Electronics or U.S. Military Biomedical equipment technology program: Three years of experience performing repair and maintenance of electronic equipment.
  • Associate Degree See Experience.
  • Desired: Three years of experience performing repair and maintenance of electronic equipment.
  • Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician.
