Role Summary

The Equipment Finishing Specialist will play a vital role in executing the bodywork and painting processes for forklifts, ensuring that used or damaged equipment is prepared for future rental, leasing, or purchase by clients. This position is crucial in establishing a professional appearance for ProLift's equipment, appealing to both new and returning customers.

  • Adhere to the established procedures for sanding and grinding equipment in preparation for painting, operate the steam bay, mix specific branding colors, and apply decals accurately.
  • Complete necessary documentation such as work orders and time cards, ensuring submission upon job completion.
  • Source parts and technical details required for aesthetic repairs on equipment.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of assigned parts.
  • Uphold the philosophies, vision, and values of ProLift Toyota Material Handling, including the commitment to "Doing the Right Thing" and the principles of Toyota Lean Management.
  • Exhibit a constant state of alertness and adhere to safety protocols while performing tasks.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent; Technical School experience is preferred.
  • Preferred experience includes at least one year in painting or automotive bodywork.
  • A valid Driver's License is required.
