About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Analytics Specialist to join our team at AssuredPartners. As a key member of our Pharmacy Analytics practice, you will be responsible for providing expert analysis and support to our existing and prospective clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and validate data for reasonableness and accuracy, ensuring compliance with key performance indicators collected from Pharmacy Benefit Manager vendors.
  • Execute competitive bidding of pharmacy coverage for clients, leveraging your expertise in PBM pricing, contract language, and financial modeling.
  • Prepare comprehensive presentations outlining financial and contractual analysis, adhering to company policy and best practices.
  • Perform pharmacy pricing guarantee reconciliations for clients on a quarterly and annual basis, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of results.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of PBM pricing, contract language, and financial modeling of pharmacy benefits proposals.
  • Work closely with Underwriters and Data Consultants to evaluate, determine, and recommend alternative coverages, pricing options, and plan design changes based on analysis of available plan elements and client goals.
  • Interpret clients' current pharmacy programs, identifying gaps and recommending alternatives, additional plan design changes, and other enhancements.
  • Produce high-quality deliverables in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with company standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with peers on the Healthcare Strategy team to share best practices and drive process improvement.
  • Negotiate pharmacy coverage with carrier partners, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Present all forms of reporting and financial deliverables to clients, effectively communicating complex data insights.
  • Forecast and develop client budget projections, providing actionable recommendations for cost savings and optimization.
  • Maintain positive relationships with vendor representatives, fostering open communication and collaboration.
  • Stay abreast of the health insurance environment and constantly changing insurance legislation, ensuring compliance and adaptability.
  • Research and understand industry trends and PBM product offerings, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Respond to routine and non-routine correspondence, providing clear and concise communication.
  • Work independently and collaboratively with the team on special projects and ongoing initiatives.
  • Represent AssuredPartners positively and professionally with internal and external clients, upholding the company's reputation and values.
  • Maintain composure and effectiveness under pressure in a deadline-driven environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
