Hospice Admissions Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as an Admissions Nurse at Deaconess Hospice in Biloxi. As a Hospice Admissions RN, you will play a vital role in ensuring that patients and their families receive the highest quality care and support during this challenging time.
Key Responsibilities- Develop trusting relationships with patients and their families as an end-of-life care expert.
- Advocate for patients and families to meet their needs and provide support.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate information exchange.
- Must be a licensed registered nurse in the state of operation.
- At least 2 years of experience in a hospice, home health, or other healthcare setting.
- Current CPR certification.
- Current Driver's License and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
