Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mobile Phlebotomist to join our team at TridentCare. As a Mobile Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients in various healthcare settings, ensuring accurate and timely specimen collection and processing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect blood samples from patients in nursing homes and other healthcare facilities, following established phlebotomy procedures.
  • Properly identify patients and ensure accurate labeling and transport of specimens.
  • Plan and organize draw schedules to prioritize patient needs and ensure efficient specimen collection.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs, including time sheets and other required documentation.
  • Collaborate with dispatch, payroll, laboratory, and courier departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Report any equipment issues or concerns to the Area Phlebotomy Supervisor.
  • Respond promptly to company-issued mobile devices and be available to work as scheduled.
Requirements
  • Current clinical licensure, if required by state.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and phlebotomy procedures, including venipuncture and decontamination techniques.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and maintain accurate records.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle in good working condition.
  • Good driving record and ability to maintain effective working relationships with clients, patients, and staff.
