JOB DESCRIPTION

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Set up and operate the extrusion machinery
  • Oversee the water cooling systems utilized throughout the production line
  • Employ precision measuring tools to assess product quality and make necessary adjustments to tooling
  • Conduct visual and manual inspections of the liner and document findings
  • Wind completed liner onto take-up spools
  • Monitor machinery performance and report mechanical and electrical issues to the maintenance team
  • Execute additional tasks as required
  • Adhere to all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Cut and manage scrap liner effectively
  • Familiarity with the extrusion of tubular HDPE tubing/liner
  • At least 1 to 2 years of experience in operating extruders
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues with extruders
  • Prepare production spools for operational use
  • Operate the liner take-up spool efficiently
  • Basic skills in reading, writing, and arithmetic are essential
  • Manual dexterity is necessary for operating machinery and computers
  • Capability to lift materials weighing up to 50 pounds is required
  • Team collaboration is essential
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills are critical
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
  • Able to stand for extended periods.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT

The working conditions are typical for a manufacturing setting. The role involves frequent lifting of materials and products weighing up to 50 pounds. Operating machinery necessitates the use of safety equipment, including but not limited to safety glasses, hearing protection, safety footwear, and hard hats. Company uniforms are mandatory at all times.
