Benefits Administrator Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Benefits Administrator to join our team at FCE Benefits, a leading provider of Health & Welfare benefit solutions. As a Benefits Administrator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our benefit programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Policies and Procedures: Develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures to ensure adherence to industry standards, state regulations, and company-specific client service requirements.
  • Leadership and Supervision: Provide leadership and supervision to assigned analysts, including project allocation, workflow management, and performance monitoring.
  • Compliance and Audits: Analyze management reports and audits member activities to identify liabilities and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Task Management: Schedules and assigns tasks to employees, follows up on work results, and ensures the completion of operational requirements in line with company policies.
  • Member Audits: Analyzes and performs audits to existing members for liabilities and adherence to company standards.
  • Personnel Policies: Administers company personnel policies in membership areas and follows company staffing.
  • Performance Enhancement: Maximizes performance within the team with the development of strategies that enhance productivity.
  • Support and Guidance: Provides support, guidance, leadership, and motivation to promote maximum performance.
  • Operational Requirements: Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
  • Process Improvement: Implement procedural and policy changes to improve operational efficiency.
  • Special Projects: Perform review and analysis of special projects and keep the management properly informed.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience: 4 years of benefit administration experience
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills; Expert abilities within Excel; Analytical and interpretive skills; Excellent organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail; Excellent interpersonal skills & customer service skills; Ability to handle multiple projects and set priorities; Ability to work in a team environment; Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies
