Stevedore Supervisor

ENSTRUCTURE LLC is hiring a Stevedore Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our terminal in New Haven, CT. This role involves providing guidance and direction to supervisors and lead associates, ensuring accurate and efficient delivery, proper inventory control, and prompt customer response.

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience.

The successful candidate will have prior experience handling and supervising associates on multiple types of cargo, as well as operating and training associates on multiple types of cranes. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify training requirements and ensure all personnel possess technical job proficiency and an understanding of their roles, responsibilities, and performance goals
• Schedule and shift personnel to ensure efficient work teams and initiate cross-training to achieve productivity goals
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and security procedures

Requirements:

• Experience handling and supervising associates on multiple types of cargo, especially breakbulk
• Ability to operate and train associates on multiple types of cranes
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
