Job Title: Housekeeper EVS FT Evenings Shift Differentials

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at MercyOne Dubuque/Dyersville Medical Center. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Job Summary:

The Housekeeper will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining patient rooms, offices, and other areas of the hospital. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Cleaning and disinfecting surfaces, floors, and equipment
  • Restocking supplies and linens
  • Emptying trash and recyclables
  • Assisting with special events and projects as needed
Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  • Adhere to hospital policies and procedures
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to improve skills and knowledge
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and push/pull carts
  • High school diploma or equivalent
