Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team as a substitute in the Special Education Program of the Santa Barbara County Education Office. As an itinerant Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide assessment and instruction to students, as well as consultation to parents and teachers.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct Speech/Language assessments and provide recommendations for services.
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs for students with Speech/Language disabilities.
  • Provide Speech/Language therapy and assessments, following a consultation model.
  • Collaborate with parents and professional staff members to ensure student progress.
  • Review student progress and adjust instructional procedures as needed.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have a California Speech-Language Pathology or Clinical Rehabilitative Services Credential in Language, Speech, & Hearing, or a Master's Degree in Communicative Disorders (or equivalent), plus a valid California Speech-Language Pathology License.
