Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join our team at New Level Resources. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will play a vital role in handling various payroll functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process multi-state payroll transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Calculate wages, deductions, wage garnishments, and overtime.
  • Conduct audits on time records and other payroll changes to ensure accuracy.
  • Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Two or more years of proven experience in a payroll accountant or similar role.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform detailed work.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
