This role is pivotal in leading a highly skilled team engaged in technical services such as modeling, simulation, and agile software development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of over 10 professionals, managing personnel, business development, contract execution, and office management.
  • Drive business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and responding to customer inquiries and proposals.
  • Oversee personnel management, including recruitment, retention, and staff development, ensuring a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Ensure contract compliance by monitoring technical, schedule, and cost performance, while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the broader Air and Space Technology Sector to leverage synergies for organizational growth.
  • Manage office administration and security protocols effectively.

Required Qualifications:

U.S. Citizenship is mandatory due to the sensitive nature of the work. Candidates should possess either a High School diploma with 14 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 years of technical experience.

Applicants must undergo a U.S. Government background investigation and hold an active SECRET clearance from day one.

Experience in the U.S. / DoD Intelligence Community and business development, including proposal writing and cost estimation, is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in managing software development or research teams is advantageous. Candidates with a background in geospatial sciences or DoD Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation markets will be prioritized.

Expertise in software development (C/C++, Java), modeling and simulation, and operations analysis is highly desirable. An advanced degree (MS or PhD) is preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.

TOP SECRET clearance is preferred.
