Investment Officer I – Inflation Sensitive Strategies

The Association of Asian American Investment Managers is looking for a skilled professional to fill the role of Investment Officer I within the Inflation Sensitive team.
The Inflation Sensitive Unit was established to enhance the diversification of the overall Investment Portfolio by exploring investment strategies and asset types that safeguard against inflation, yield improved returns, and ensure consistent cash flows. The portfolio currently encompasses public investments such as U.S. TIPS and Commodities, alongside private investments in sectors like Agriculture, Timberland, and Infrastructure. Additional strategies are under evaluation. This unique Inflation Sensitive Portfolio combines various asset classes, investing in a diversified array of strategies and securities through both internal and external management approaches. The unit aims to reduce overall portfolio volatility while effectively capturing long-term inflation trends.
Reporting to the Portfolio Manager, the Investment Officer I will assist in the administration and oversight of the Inflation Sensitive portfolio operations. This role involves conducting and compiling research and portfolio data to support informed investment decisions. The position requires a significant level of independence and sound judgment.
